Hahahaha what have you done???

Wow, that was incredible.

Ps - I'd complain about paying full price but I love Coda too damn much.
Anonymous Tommy 5/27/2009 12:03 PM
I wasn't convinced when I first woke up, but I guess that was because I was spoilt by the quite recent Mac Heist that was one and I got a huge discount there. I did buy most apps in the afternoon though :) I <3 CODA!
Anonymous Kyle Saric 5/27/2009 12:04 PM
I seriously want to buy something just because of this video.
Anonymous Anonymous 5/27/2009 12:06 PM
That was 1 minute and 25 seconds of my life, turned forever into concentrated awesome. Never forget.
Anonymous Sebastiaan de With 5/27/2009 12:14 PM
Wow. Is that a crazy techno rendition of "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" in the background? I believe that should be released to the world.
Anonymous Tyler 5/27/2009 12:14 PM
the (/) Dw icon, the tissue box...GOLD!
Anonymous Anonymous 5/27/2009 12:17 PM
This is so full of win! Thanks for the delicious, face-rocking software, fellas!
Anonymous Charles Williams 5/27/2009 12:17 PM
(Secret Fact: if you ever write in to Coda tech support, it's most likely Tim will answer.)

(Eventually.)
Anonymous Tim 5/27/2009 12:31 PM
Aw, he's lovely.
Anonymous Anonymous 5/27/2009 12:31 PM
Hmm...there is a mysterious icon that pops up on the bottom right after the Safari icon during the coda schpeel...
Anonymous ethan 5/27/2009 12:42 PM
ROFL, Was there a Dreamweaver in an X??? Hystarical!
I just purchased Coda (what a steal)... there's not going to be a paid upgrade next time is there?
Anonymous Luigi193 5/27/2009 12:46 PM
Luigi193: There almost certainly will be — for the next major version, which is a ways away — but you'll get a discount. :) Thanks for buying!
Blogger Cabel 5/27/2009 12:47 PM
If I may inquire... What amazing video effect is that?
Anonymous Jacob Decoteau 5/27/2009 12:52 PM
That was...disturbing. Not quite so much as Steve Ballmer trying to sell Windows 1.0, or that guy who sells the Slap Chop, but Tim is no Billy Mays. Or Billy West. Or even Mr. Bill.
Anonymous Anonymous 5/27/2009 12:53 PM
Where can I see the rest of that Golden Girls episode?

Loved it.
Anonymous Jeff Hartman 5/27/2009 1:19 PM
Hilarious
Anonymous blanco 5/27/2009 1:26 PM
I would love to have seen this with the Outrageous Audio guy! I wish it were made be Germans, everybody knows the Germans make great stuff!
Anonymous Jay 5/27/2009 1:30 PM
... Panic sale?

Reminds me of Family Guy: "Butt scratcher? Butt scratcher! Butt scratcher? ... :-( butt scratcher ...)

Instant classic. :-) Great job, Tim!

I have to say this: Long live CSS edit, please bring us a killer CSS editor!!!!! and I will BUYYYYYY IT!!! at what ever reasonable price
Anonymous Anonymous 5/27/2009 2:13 PM
Just a tip: combine webkit inspector with the ability to edit and override the css files, combine some cool FF extensions ala JQuerify page, and so on, and you have got me.
Anonymous Anonymous 5/27/2009 2:16 PM
I can't believe you've done this.
Blogger Wevah 5/27/2009 2:18 PM
Very good beard.
Anonymous Marcus 5/27/2009 2:24 PM
This is beyond awesome, so much so, that I just purchased my first copy of Transmit (sorry Cyberduck). It's been a while since buying something made me feel this good about it's quality and creators. Thanks!
Anonymous Mau 5/27/2009 3:07 PM
OMG WTF BBQ
Anonymous Anonymous 5/27/2009 3:16 PM
Please not that participation in this sale qualifies you for a free download of this free desktop background:

Thanks!

I'll second Tyler's request for the details of your chiptune-y Foggy Mountain Breakdown.
Anonymous Kjell 5/27/2009 3:32 PM
That version of Foggy Mountain Breakdown appears to be by Gil Trythall. And of course it's on iTunes.
Blogger codeman38 5/27/2009 3:44 PM
That's a Taco...not a burrito!
Anonymous Anonymous 5/27/2009 5:04 PM
JFC, this was awesome. The out of sync horn killed me for some reason. I already own all three of your main apps or I'd be shopping right now instead of typing.
Anonymous Anonymous 5/27/2009 5:35 PM
The website says "PST", but since it's summer time, there's no PST, only PDT. Do they mean PDT?
Anonymous Randal L. Schwartz 5/27/2009 5:47 PM
kids these days! this music isn't "techno" or "chiptune"... it was played with good old fashioned Moog analog synthesizers way back in 1970!
Anonymous Anonymous 5/27/2009 6:02 PM
Tim's one of the very best tech support folks around. His Internet fame is overdue!
OpenID ncaldwell 5/27/2009 10:49 PM
For some reason that video really makes me want to buy something.
Anonymous Anonymous 5/27/2009 11:15 PM
that horrible modal photoshop dialog even managed to work its way into an ad
Blogger Andrew 5/27/2009 11:23 PM
All day today, in my head? "P-P-P-PANIC SA-"

Thanks. I GUESS
Blogger Todd 5/28/2009 4:07 AM
lol at the "no dreamwever" icon.
Anonymous Anonymous 5/28/2009 4:17 PM
I like how the CandyBar example just makes the Transmit icon look like one of the Transmit icon rip-offs found around the web.
Blogger Matt Thomas 5/29/2009 12:57 PM
I bought Coda through the panic sale! Thanks for the discount! Otherwise I would still code with Textmate ;-)
Anonymous Tobi 5/30/2009 8:28 AM
Sweet. Nice Job
Anonymous Anonymous 6/18/2009 10:17 AM
I can't believe I missed the sale - but that video makes up for it. Takes me back to my childhood watching UHF channels on a fake wood-paneled TV in 1988. Classic!
Anonymous Kevin Buchanan 6/25/2009 9:41 AM
Watch the commercial while wearing 3D glasses. It makes it even better!
Anonymous Anonymous 7/02/2009 12:53 AM
The video makes me want to buy all your apps right now. Darn, one of the best ads ever! :P
Anonymous Daniel 3/19/2010 3:14 PM
DANGIT!!!! I missed it by a day... But because the video was soooooo F'n funny I gave in and bought it for full price - and gave up my old pirated warez version... Great job guys... Love your app goodness.... And vids. ;)
