iPhone Fever: Catch It!

Bathroom Grafitti at Stumptown Annex, Portland
Yeah. See you in line, dudes! Who's in?

22 Comments:

How many days in advance will you be getting there? :D
But of course, you could also just walk in on Saturday and buy one immediately...

I'm hoping not to get there more than a few hours in advance. We'll see how that goes. ;)

We're already planning an early Friday morning arrival at the Apple Store up here in Seattle. It damn well better be early enough. I'm not up for camping.

I was planning on lining up this Friday but then I realised the iPhone isn't being released here in Australia until 2008. Might be a long wait in the line. :(

Lucky bastards. I'm so jealous.

Where are you waiting? I'm not going near the Pioneer Place Apple Store. I figure the Cingular store a couple blocks away would be better?

I too will be here in Australia waiting until sometime in 2008. It's not fair.

New Zealand. 2009? 2010? We only got iTunes a few months ago.

I saw that while I was up in Portland. We got a chuckle or two out of it. I'm amused that it's still up there.

I have no idea how I'm going to get mine. Living in Manhattan is a bit of a setback ... that and I don't usually leave the office until 7. Maybe they'll have enough and I can just buy mine online? We'll see.

See you there!

Oh, and, to the anonymous who said he'd go to the Cingular store around the block - they won't have iPhones on Friday, dude. There's an AT&T store upstairs from Apple in the mall, though, and they'll carry it.

On AT&T's website, you can now search for stores that will have it.

haw! I saw that too, took a (inferior) shot with my RAZR

I like the graffiti outside the Stumptown Coffee on Belmont: "Too many hipsters, not enough crime."

I will not be waiting in line, but it sounds like a good time. Should we be looking forward to a disembodied hands review of the iPhone once purchased?
Anonymous Brian Middleton 6/27/2007 2:55 PM
you mean Steve didn't send an iPhone over to Panic HQ yet? I'm sure its in the mail..... ;)
Anonymous sho'fr 6/28/2007 7:59 AM
How many times have you washed your hands? :P

I've yet to remove the second plastic film. I think I'll leave it on, since the phone works perfectly fine with it except for the home button.

Hey, seconding the request for an iPhone video review! (Although I hear you're into musicals now. That's cool too.)

PS. Apologies if this double-posts. Man, how much does blogger suck?

ABQ Apple- Walked in at 10 p.m. Bought phone. Walked out with a smile.

Hi again, Cabel - newsboy hat dude here. How awesome was that whole thing? On a scale from one to awesome?
Blogger Neven Mrgan 6/30/2007 9:39 AM
I'm hoping you got your iPhone and are enjoying it lots. I'm typing on mine now. :)
Anonymous Anonymous 6/30/2007 5:57 PM
C'mon, Cabel! Put your iPhone down and write your review on it. I can't buy one before hearing what you think! ;)
Blogger Andy 7/02/2007 6:53 PM
^Amen. I'm hoping for another video review a la the DS Lite. Please???
Blogger KidV 7/04/2007 7:33 PM
